FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

1. What size unit do I need?

The HVAC unit size depends on the Square foot of your house or coverage area the unit will be servicing. Then we will determine the tonnage required based on regulations and statutes.

2. Do I need gas or electric unit?

We install both, but we'll first determine which one is best for your personal scenario. If you have one type and want to switch to the other, we do a full assessment to ensure the changes are within code. There are pros and cons to each option and we'll review those with you prior to installation. The ultimate decision rests with you as the client, however we have the capability install or upgrade either.

3. Can we relocate our current outside AC unit?

Yes, it is definitely possible to relocate existing units, however modifications may be required to remain compliant with current standards.

4. Do you guys run ductwork as well?

Yes, we do

5. Can I switch my current system to a smart system?

Yes, however the ease of transformation depends on the current system's thermostat set up and wiring.

6. Would you suggest a split system or wall units for a basement buildout?

Everybody's situation is a little different from the other, however if you are fully finishing your basement and the walls have not been closed yet, I always suggest split level systems.

7. Do you guys service AC units?

Yes

8. How long does it take to change out the old AC unit?

We will usually have your new system up and running within five hours to a day depending on size of the unit and other potential code related modifications that must be addressed.

9. Do you guys install humidifiers to your HVac units?

Yes.

10. Do you guys install UV lights?

Yes we do.

11. What are UV lights?

UV lights burn unwanted allergen out of the air such as viruses and germs etc.
